Feel free to use my tutorial as a guide and have fun giving it your own spin.
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.
Needed Supplies :
Tube of Choice .. I am using the work of Zebrush which you must have a license to use. Please do not use this work without purchasing through the PicsForDesign here.
The particular image I have used is a prepaid project for PFD and is currently only available through their Exclusive Club Membership.
Scrap Kit of Choice .. I have used a gorgeous PTU kit from Rebellious Scraps called "EMOlicious Babe" which can be purchased here.
Template of Choice .. I have used Template #135 by Amy & Leah which can be downloaded here.
Mask of Choice .. I have used WSL_Mask192 which can be downloaded from here.
Font of Choice .. Viner Hand ITC
Let's get started
Open your template in PSP & delete credits layer and layers 1, 2 & 3. Image/canvas size/600x600. Then select Background layer, make visible if it's not already, and floodfill with white.
New raster layer just above your background layer. Select all, copy and paste into selection Paper 8. Select none. New mask layer from image, WSL_Mask192, invert transparency unchecked. Merge group & resize 115%.
Copy and paste Deco 1, resize 65% & position towards the top. Adjust/add remove noise/add noise/uniform monochrome checked/50%. Layer duplicate and move down towards the bottom.
Select Layer 12, select all/float/defloat, copy and paste Paper 7, selections invert and hit delete. Selections invert, selections/modify/expand 6, new raster layer below your paper layer, floodfill with black, adjust/add remove noise/add noise/monochrome uniform checked/50%, select none & then drop shadow. I have used 2/2/40/4 throughout. Delete original Layer 12 layer.
Repeat with Layer 10, using Paper 8 and floodfilling the background layer with #28beb9.
Select Layer 11, select all/float/defloat, copy and paste Paper 5, selections invert and hit delete. Copy and paste Wire, position nicely in your circle and hit delete. Selections invert, selections/modify/expand 6, new raster layer below your paper layer, floodfill with black, adjust/add remove noise/add noise/monochrome uniform checked/50%, select none & then drop shadow. Delete original Layer 11 layer.
Repeat with Layer 8.
Repeat with Layer 9, using Paper 4 and floodfilling the background layer with #7924aa.
Select Layer 7, select all/float/defloat, copy and paste Paper 11, selections invert and hit delete. Copy and paste your tube, resize and position to your liking, and hit delete. Select none and delete original Layer 7 layer. On your tube layer set blend mode to luminance.
Repeat with Layer 5, using another Paper 12. In my case, I wanted a purple paper so what I did is open Paper 12 in PSP and then change the color to purple. You can do this by adjust/color balance/manual color correction from black to #7924aa. I then used this paper.
Select Layer 6, adjust/color balance/manual color correction from white to black. I then added the same noise effect we used before and then drop shadow.
Repeat with Layer 4.
Copy and paste Swirly 3, resize 65% & drop shadow. Position on the right hand side. Copy and paste Winged Heart 4, resize 50% & drop shadow. Position top right hand corner over the top of the swirly.
Copy and paste your tube and drop shadow.
Copy and paste Star 1, resize 40% & drop shadow. Position bottom left hand corner. Repeat with Star 2, resizing 35% & position next to your first star.
Copy and paste Bottle Cap 3, resize 65% & drop shadow. Position top left hand corner on the corner of your frame. Repeat with Bottle Cap 2 and position bottom left hand corner with your stars.
Copy and paste Cat, resize 30% & drop shadow. Position bottom right hand corner.
X out white background, merge visible. Open white background, resize to your liking (I have used 500x500).
Add copyright and name on your tag. I used Viner Hand ITC, Size 48, color #28beb9 and I then added the same noise effect used before as well as a size 3 fat white gradient glow followed by drop shadow.
Save and you are done.
I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.
Pls feel free to experiment and use my tutorial as a guide.
