A Day Without You Tut

Feel free to use my tutorial as a guide and
have fun giving it your own spin.
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.
Needed Supplies & Filters :
Tube of Choice .. I am using the work of Angela Newman which you must have a license to use. Please do not use her work without purchasing through MPT here. I am licensed through Artistic Minds Inc. but they are now closed.
Scrap Kit of Choice .. Scrap Kit of Choice .. I have used a gorgeous PTU kit from Monti called Flower Garden, which can be purchased at Artistic Minds Inc here.
Mask of Choice .. I have used WSL_Mask84 from Weescotslass which can be downloaded here.
Template of Choice .. I have used template 160 by Ali which can be downloaded from her blog here.
Word Art of Choice .. I have used word art from Missy which can be downloaded here.
Font of Choice .. I am using PointinoA.
Let's get started !
Open your template in PSP. Just to have a lil extra working space around, adjust canvas size to 767x574. You can resize later.
New raster layer, move to the bottom layer and floodfill with white.
New raster layer, select all, paste into selection Paper insects green. New mask layer from image, WSL_Mask84, invert mask data unchecked, and merge group. Layer duplicate and merge down both mask layers. Resize 110%.
Select Raster layer 3, select all/float/defloat, copy and paste Paper spots green, selections invert & hit delete. Select none & delete original Raster layer 3.
Repeat with Copy of Raster layer 3 using Paper Wood Green.
Select Raster layer 4, select all/float/defloat, new raster layer and floodfill with color #d4acb6. Select none. Adjust/add remove noise/uniform 50% monochrome checked. Add gradient glow size 3 fat white and drop shadow. I have used 2/2/40/4 throughout. Delete original Raster layer 4. We will be repeating these steps for the other frame layers.
Copy and paste Satin bow green & drop shadow. Position above the frame we just completed. Copy and paste Fragile flower 3, resize 50% & drop shadow. Position on your bow.
Repeat with Raster layer 5, the same steps we took with the other frame.
Copy and paste Satin bow pink, mirror & drop shadow. Position above this last frame we completed. Copy and paste Cherry blossom pink, resize 75% & drop shadow. Position on your pink bow. If needed, trim the bottom of the cherry blossom if it's hanging down the bottom.
Select Raster layer 1, select all/float/defloat, copy and paste Paper flowers green, selections invert & hit delete. Select none & delete original Raster layer 1.
Repeat with Raster layer 2, the same steps we have taken with our other frame layers.
Select Raster layer 6, select all/float/defloat, adjust color from black to #d4acb6. Adjust/add remove noise/uniform 50% monochrome checked. Add gradient glow size 3 fat white and drop shadow. Delete original Raster layer 6. We will be repeating these steps shortly with our other dots.
Copy and paste Blossoms pink & drop shadow. Position bottom centre. Copy and paste your tube.
Repeat with Copy of raster layer 6 the same steps we took with the other dots.
X out white background, merge visible. Open white background, resize to your liking (I used a width of 600).
Copy and paste Word art & resize 85%. I decided to erase the bottom part "I miss you". Adjust color from black to #7b9459. I then added the same gradient glow and drop shadow as before.
Add copyright & add your name. I used Pointino Size 85 color #7b9459 and then added the same gradient glow and drop shadow as before.
Save and you are done.
