Feel free to use my tutorial as a guide and
have fun giving it your own spin.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Needed Supplies & Filters :

Tube of Choice .. I am using the adorable work of Pinup Toons which you must have a license to use. Please do not use this work without purchasing through CILM here.

Scrap Kit of Choice .. I have used a gorgeous PTU kit from Cora called Big Top which be purchased here.

Word Art of Choice .. I have used a great word art from Bits N Bobs, which is available on her blog here.

Mask of Choice .. I haved used WSL_Mask105 Weescotslass which can be downloaded here.

Font of Choice .. I am using BD Cartoon Shout.

Let's get started !

Open your mask in PSP. New image 600x600 and floofill with white. New raster layer, select all, copy and paste into selection Paper 6, new mask layer from image, WSL_Mask105, invert mask data unchecked, and merge group. 

 

Copy and paste Fireworks 2 and resize 50%. Copy and paste Sparkle, resize 50%  & then 65% and drop shadow. I have used 2/2/40/4 throughout. Layer duplicate & mirror. 

 

Open frame 2 and  resize 25%.  I have decided to change the color of my frame by doing image grayscale, image increase color depth 16 million colors, adjust color balance/manual color correction from #818181 to #7cc2cc. Copy and paste onto your project.

 

Using your magic wand (or selection tool), select all the area in the middle of your frame and selections/modify/expand 5. Copy and paste Paper 17, resize 25%, selections invert and hit delete. Do not deselect.

 

Copy and paste Tent, resize 15% and drop shadow.  Llayer duplicate twice and position under your frame. See my tag for placement. Hit delete on each layer to erase the portion that is wider than your frame. Select none. Drop shadow your frame.

Copy and paste Balloon 1 & 2, resize 10% & then 35%. Drop shadow and position to your liking.

Copy and paste string 1 & 3, resize 15% and drop shadow. Position towards the bottom of your frame. 

Copy and paste Ticket 1, resize 15%, image rotate left 15 and drop shadow. Position top right hand side of your frame. 

Copy and paste Lion, resize 20% & drop shadow. Position bottom right corner of your frame. 

Copy and paste your tube, drop shadow and position on the right side.

Copy and paste Word art and resize 15%. I changed the color of my word art by using adjust/color balance/manual color correction from black to #7cc2cc. Position top right hand corner. I then added a white Gradient glow, size 3 fat and drop shadow.

 

X out white background, merge visible.
Open white background, resize to your liking (I used 500x500).

Add copyright & Add your name. I used BD Cartoon Shoot Size 48  #c03f66  and added the same gradient glow and drop shadow as before.

Save and you are done.
